Brighton announced on Saturday that they will part ways with De Zerbi after the club's final game of the season against Manchester United on May 19. After the English club's announcement, some reports suggested that the Italian manager would now head to Germany and join Bayern Munich ahead of the 2024-25 season.

However, journalist has now claimed that the Bavarian club are considering appointing De Zerbi as their next head coach. The German giants, who finished third in the Bundesliga this season, are yet to finalise Thomas Tuchel's successor, although the current manager's departure was announced three months back.

Bayern sporting Max Eberl has also denied the club's link with the Seagulls' manager. When ZDF asked the official if he would deny the arrival of an Italian manager at the club, he said, "Yes."
