In an interview with France Football, Aston Villa right-back Frederic Guilbert has given his opinion over starlet Jack Grealish’s rumoured move away from the Midlands – with the defender since going on to say that he could move to a ‘big club this summer’.
Guilbert, who has become Dean Smith’s first choice right-back since signing from French outfit Caen back in January 2019, spoke candidly over his teammate in an interview with France Football – with the defender going on to say that Grealish could very well move to a ‘big club this summer’.
Described as ‘tough tackling’ by media outlet SoccerSouls, Guilbert has played a consistent role in the team alongside Grealish. The Englishman, who has scored seven goals and assisted six others in the Premier League this season (WhoScored), is currently turning the heads of top six clubs – including English giants Manchester United (Birmingham Mail). Earning the nickname ‘Super Jack’, Grealish has become a key player for Villa in recent seasons – with a lot of fans of course desperate for him to stay at Villa Park.
As a result, many supporters have debated Gilbert’s ‘odd’ comments over his potential exit on social media – find all of their best comments down below.
